alchemarine
inspiration
bali holds a special place in the heart of Alchemai. one island that holds everything. the rain and the sun. the beaches, the waterfalls, the volcanoes, the forests, the temples. everything you seek, within one island. that is where this collection began.
Alchemai takes its name from alchemy, the art of turning lead into gold. the real gold was never the metal. it was the change itself. bali holds that same magic. you arrive one way and leave another.
we wanted this collection to feel like tranquility. like a summer movie you don't just watch, but live inside.
bali has been a transformative place for our founder, Mai Pham, and we hope you feel it the moment this collection reaches you.

design & production
everything in this collection came from the island. seashells, rocks, leaves, orchids, birds, running water. the colors are pulled directly from bali, the teal of sea glass and blue water, soft, pale tones that feel warm and peaceful, printed lightly so the fabric and the print feel like one, to remind you that you are one with nature. the intention was always for everything to feel like second skin. second nature. one with everything around you.
the lotus grows in the mud and rises into something beautiful. transformation in its most natural form. you'll find it on the one-size lotus zip-up and the lotus sweatpant.
the orchid has long been a symbol of beauty, strength, and refinement. it roots on trees and stone and blooms where little else can. it blooms across the one-size bloom hoodie, the bloom sweatpants, and the teal orchid ¾ sleeve tee.
every garment comes with its own randomized set of affirmations. no two orders are the same. an affirmation tucked into something you wear every day.
the essence trio
a seashell, an orchid, a starfish. the essence trio hair clips should feel like small things you gathered from the island yourself and tucked into your hair. a little collection of bali, worn every day.
the seaglass envelope
the pins are souvenirs. collecting little things is our favorite part of travel, and we wanted you to feel it too. the açaí bowl, the grab scooter, all of our favorite things from the island, three randomized mystery pins tucked inside the alchemarine sea glass envelope. when your package arrives, it should feel like it came straight from bali, like you were there with us. you never know which ones you're going to get, and that's the fun of it.
the charms
we went to the beach and brought some back for you.
the charms are designed to look like sea glass, little pieces of the shore to carry anywhere. we wanted it to feel like we brought the beach back to you, like you were there with us, collecting seashells on the sand.
the seashell tapestry
no matter where this tapestry hangs, it should feel like you are sitting on the sand. one with nature. research shows that homes built around natural elements feel calmer and more relaxing.
the postcards
a surprise comes with every order.
each collection usually includes a postcard with a handwritten note from Alchemai. this one is different. before the trip, we asked the girls everything. where they feel most themselves, where in nature they’re happiest, what they feel represents them. we wanted to know their essence, not just who they are, but who they are in their own world.
then anna laura listened. what we love about anna is the way she takes the universal moments of life, the feelings we all know but can’t quite name, and turns them into cartoons you understand the second you see them. she took everything the girls told us and interpreted each of them into a portrait, illustrated by @annalauraart. these artworks are them. thank you, anna, for seeing them so clearly.
each order gets one at random, with a little message on the back written for you by the girls in bali.

Alchemai has been dreaming about this brand trip since before it was even a brand, and it was worth every bit of the wait.
we brought Madeline Argy, Amalie Bladt, Hitomi Mochizuki, and Eden Masliah to bali with us. some have supported the brand from the very beginning, and some felt like the perfect fit for this world. our goal was to let them experience bali, the essence of Alchemai, and celebrate a new collection together. these girls were brought together on one island and left with friendships that will last forever.
at the end of the day, we came here because we wanted everyone to actually experience what this collection feels like.
we transformed the affirmations on our pieces into stickers for the guests to take with them. at each villa, they recieved a new affirmation on every mirror.
creative
the shoot was always meant to feel nostalgic. the kind of golden where every frame feels like a core summer memory. every image and video shows bali's natural beauty, with the colors and the light as our main inspiration. with the help of our talented friends @zamarvelez and @brandonjchen, we were able to push this collection creatively and bring the feeling of bali to you.
team
what makes this collection and trip different is that it wasn't built by one person. this is the first drop created entirely by a full team. every moving part touched by someone who believed in it. we have an incredible, talented young team who showed up and made it real.
